Dust Control & Filters
Wetting Bowl
A wetting bowl is a crucial component in lime slaking systems, designed to significantly improve lime usage and aid in dust control. This innovative solution ensures that lime and water are efficiently mixed, reducing dust emissions and enhancing the overall slaking process.
The wetting bowl is an ancillary device installed on top of a lime slaker or a mixing tank feed inlet port. It is designed to create a water curtain around the dry feed stream minimizing wet bulk material from plugging the slaker or mixing tank feed inlet port. A cone of water is created at the feed inlet port producing a cyclone effect inside the bowl ensuring the interior surface is covered in water minimizing dry spots preventing bulk material from building up. This allows you to put more bulk material in your process saving you both time and money. Incorporating the wetting bowl into your lime slaker or mixing tank systems also improves efficiency and the safety of your workers due to reduced dusting with less potential for upstream plugging. This process not only improves the efficiency of lime usage but also enhances the safety and cleanliness of the working environment. By integrating a wetting bowl into your lime slaking system, you can achieve better control over the slaking process, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Our wetting bowl stands out due to its superior design and engineering. We understand the challenges associated with lime slaking and dust control, and our wetting bowl is designed to address these challenges effectively.
