Our History
Carmeuse Systems has a long history in lime and dry bulk material handling, built through the experience of several legacy companies. While the name has evolved over time, our
focus on delivering reliable systems and practical support has remained consistent.
Over the years, several companies have been brought together and unified under what is now Carmeuse Systems, including:

In 2017, Carmeuse acquired Storage & Transfer Technologies. In 2024, the business was unified under the name Carmeuse Systems, bringing together system design, material expertise, and lifecycle support as part of Carmeuse’s broader capabilities.
Carmeuse, founded in 1860, is a privately owned global producer of lime and limestone. Today, that foundation allows us to combine material knowledge with system expertise—helping customers address both processing and handling challenges with a more integrated approach.
