The wetting bowl is an ancillary device installed on top of a lime slaker or a mixing tank feed inlet port. It is designed to create a water curtain around the dry feed stream minimizing wet bulk material from plugging the slaker or mixing tank feed inlet port.

Wet Scrubber
The forced draft wet scrubber is used for applications where lime is being slaked and where any dry chemical is being added to a liquid. This component captures the dust or vapor by introducing a water curtain across the extracted air stream from the chamber.
