Carmeuse Systems is a specialist in the design and engineering of dry bulk handling, storage, and slaking systems. We are well-placed to support gold mining operations with their dry chemical handling needs, and are also a leading expert in the supply of lime slakers, which are critical for producing the hydrated lime slurry needed for mineral processing.

The challenges of this project were unique including its remote location and quality of the available lime supply. This company came to Carmeuse Systems because of our extensive experience and capabilities to help solve the multiple challenges they were experiencing including throughput concerns.
- Remote location of site made it challenging to have supplies delivered
- The available lime supply was of poor quality resulting in a high quantity of grit
- System required a high throughput to efficiently handle and deliver the required quantity of lime slurry
