A lithium lime slaking system involves using lime (calcium oxide) to produce a hydrated lime slurry, which is then used in lithium extraction and refining processes to improve the quality and efficiency of lithium production. Carmeuse Systems is a specialist in the design and engineering of dry bulk chemical systems. We are well-placed to support lithium producers with their dry chemical handling needs. We have particular expertise when it comes to storing and handling bulk dry chemical products. Additionally, we are also a leading expert in the supply of lime slakers, which take quicklime and turn it into hydrated lime slurry so it can be added to the lithium extraction process.
